Una - Unac Mighty Confluence, BA
Without collaboration and mutual support, not much would work in either human or natural world. Large rivers never start off large - they are the result of much smaller tributaries, creeks, and streams combining. Una is the same, she cannot boast, or rely, on a large number of tributaries, but she has Unac, a powerful tributary! Their meeting point is worth seeing.
River water quality depends strongly on a stable flow state and the ecological purity of the river basin - right where our impact must be extremely conscious and caring.
What happens upstream, in the headwaters, is very important to the health of the whole river, it affects everything downstream and Unac feeds into Una’s upstream giving her much needed power and vigor. The point where a tributary meets the mainstream is called the confluence, and the point where Unac meets Una is located near lovely little town of Martin Brod in the Una National Park which has been on the UNESCO's Tentative list since 2019. Tentative list is an inventory of those properties which each state intends to consider for nomination. This is often the beginning of a long process of nomination for inclusion on the World Heritage list. We wholeheartedly stand with Martin Brod! Let’s preserve our planet's natural beauty together for the future!
Dear visitors, our joint role in nature protection and safeguarding of rivers and lakes is extremely important! Join Our Green Mission - together for our loving planet Earth!
