Mosque Fethija

Extra Info & Inspiration

The name of this historic town was first mentioned in 1260. The town center, also the old historical center still has preserved sites worthy of attention.
One of them is certainly the famous Fethija mosque which was built back in 1266 as the church of St. Anthony of Padua.
What happened with the arrival of the Ottomans you can find out with the help of the local tourist guides through a lovely guided walk around the historic center. In the end, enrich the whole experience with a fine lunch in one of the restaurants in the town center or with a slice of domestic pie and a cup of warm beverage in one of the nearby cafes.
