Bihac Captain's Tower & Ottoman Turbe
Bihac Captain's Tower is a very old historic building, the only remaining tower, of once four, is believed to have been built around 1205 as part of the defensive walls of the medieval royal and free town of Bihac.
Right next to it you will find the Ottoman Turbe (Turkish türbe). Turbe represents a tomb or a mausoleum; they were constructed during Ottoman times for Ottoman notables. Bihac Ottoman Turbe (period: 16th - 17th century) is the hexagonal structure that commemorates the soldiers who died during a siege of Bihac.
