Aero Club Bihac - Gliding & Flying Center

Get away from all the madness! Take off and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the beautiful river River Una, the lovely historical town of Bihac, and the slopes of the magnificent Licka Pljesivica Mountain.

Air sports, especially gliding, have a long and successful history in Bihac. Aero Club members are proud winners of numerous national and international medals in gliding and model airplane contests.

Thanks to the famous "lift", the rising air that can soar gliders over 8000 meters, Bihac was a top destination for many European pilots after the Second World War. It's a right time to make old traditions new again!

The club has a certified flight training for glider pilots, as well as basic infrastructure for work.
They own a two-seater motor glider AVO 68 Samburo for, as club members say, the enjoyment of flying over Bihać, and 4 gliders, of wich 1 is a two-seat glider (Ka – 7).
