39. Plitvice Marathon 2024

The Athletic club Maksimir from Zagreb in cooperation with the National Park Plitvice Lakes organized the first "Plitvice marathon" in 1985 and the race has gained popularity from the start. Each year a great many people come to watch the runners making the event not just a marathon, but also a lovely social event. In 2017, the Plitvice Athletics Club was founded with a vision to promote athletics, and sports in general, as well as a healthy lifestyle in the local community. This enthusiastic team also took over the organization of the traditional "Plitvice Marathon" and has been doing it for several years now with great enthusiasm and dedication.

Registrations for the races are closed so take advantage of the nice weather and come support runners from all over the world!
