2025 BA Open Aero Gliding Championship

If you like air sports, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet other fans and enjoy the two-day events of the 2025 BA Open Championship in Aeronautical Gliding. All events take place at Golubić Airport in Bihać.

Air sports have a long and successful history in Bihać, and Aero Club Bihać, in addition to its very long tradition, is also adorned with numerous national and international medals won in gliding and aircraft modeling.

Thanks to the famous "lift", the rising air that can soar gliders over 8000 meters, Bihac was a top destination for many European pilots after the Second World War. It's a right time to make old traditions new again!

The club has a certified flight training for glider pilots, as well as basic infrastructure for work.
They own a two-seater motor glider AVO 68 Samburo for, as club members say, the enjoyment of flying over Bihać, and 4 gliders, of wich 1 is a two-seat glider (Ka – 7).
